What Does a Hippo Sound Like

I bought Claire a Hippo toy. Jimmy saw it and said "Oh-no it looks like it makes noise" (he doesn't like noisy toys and is in denial that Claire will eventually have toys that make annoying noises repeatedly) And I said, no it clicks when you move the head and it makes another 'noise' but it doesn't sound like a hippo. Then we discussed what a hippo sounds like. I believed all my life that a hippo sounds like an elephant. But indeed they don't.
