This is how an egg should NOT look when you are 'hard boiling' it. I have tried to call both sisters to discover if an egg is hard boiled when either:
A. It floats
B. It turns over
C. It changes color
D. It explodes
Obviously I chose D, because it was the most exciting choice.
I needed to know this because I'm making dinner. (yes it's kind of an event) I'm making potato ham salad stuff It tastes good, I had to try it so I knew weather to make a meatloaf in case it wasn't good enough to serve my husband.
What would you choose if you were hard boiling an egg?

ps nbulbf is NOT a word.
Put the eggs in a pot and fill the pot with just enough water to cover the eggs. Boil for 17 minutes, remove from heat and move to sink, run COLD water over them for 5 minutes then put ice in the water and sit for 20 minutes. This is how my mom taught me to make hardboiled eggs. Hope this helps.
