Nick took a bath too, but as his GB says, 'he's no fun' :P

Tweet, Tweet
So I am not too sure about this whole twitter thing. They use 'tweets' on the news, (but they also read me the morning paper on the news, like hold up the pictures and summarize, I like that). Sports stars tweet, my sister tweets as well, heck even the President is using twitter. I just don't know that people want to know that much about my day. Because I don't tweet, this is what you missed out on yesterday;
Claire peed on the toilet!!
Claire peed on the floor. :(
My fish tank sounds like a toilet.
Fish tank fixed
Crossing things off my list! :)
Trying to nap
Naptime over
Watching Jack's Show
Bathtime!
2 Hrs and counting to bedtime...
She's out :)
Just wafted Nick's butt (thank you chemistry teachers around the world, they never tell you wafting will come in handy in other areas)
See, it just cements in my mind that my life has been reduced to bowel movements and housework... it makes me sad to tweet :(

Reincarnate?
Today we discovered that reincarnation is in fact real... Claire is on at least her third life from what we figure.
Her first life was as a fish, once we got her in the water, forget about getting her out. French fries? Nope, Lollipop? Nope. Dehydration? Nope.
Her second life was as a pole dancer,
who knew she had these moves?
After a long day at the pool, no matter fish or adult entertainer... a good long sleep is in order.

What we've been up to
Working on our headstand...

And we too can not get enough of the chickens on Sarah's blog. We had to find our own and in the process found our calling to be a chicken herder. (surprisingly a word). We fed the chickens grass and only got pecked at twice that we cried about. But man we love those chickens. :)

Mostly we have been hanging out with each other...

Working on our silly faces...

and having a good time :)

Block Party
Last night we had a party of sorts. It started out just Jimmy's mom and Bill. Then our friend Johanna, then the neighbors upstairs. Then as we were heating up the grill the neighbor from next door on the first floor (Carol) came by and joined our little party on the sidewalk out in front of our home. Then a couple (Andrea and Henry?) from down the block was getting ready to leave and decided to stop in and see what was going on. They brought their two month old little chubby bunny (Matthew). He made Nick look so tiny, I wanted to just go in and put several onesies on him to bulk him up a little. :) So now we are up from four to 10 +baby. I guess this is what I needed yesterday to beat the mood I was in... I just wish there were less dishes involved.

Letters Home
Dear Mom, Everybody knows each other here, and they think I'm weird for sleeping with someone I don't know... I wanna go home.
Love Abi
ps. I know that this too shall pass.

THE tv
Our appliances have come rolling in; The washer arrived Monday, the dryer arrived from a different vendor on Tuesday (a looong story). THE TV arrived on Tuesday as well. Jimmy wanted a new TV, the TV at the old house weighed roughly the same as three full grown elephants and was that general size as well. We really didn't want to move it, (and honestly tried to but couldn't lift it) even though it worked. So I caved and let Jim get his dream TV, that also needed a Blue Ray player, who knew the new TV's didn't work without all the accessories. We did escape without the 'matching' surround sound system. When it arrived we had the debate about weather his TV is big. Form your own opinions, unbiased by me.

I do have to say that in his sweetness the first blue ray movie we watched was a chic flix for me :) He does love me :) I am taking cues from my mom and no more comment will be made about the size of the TV.

Here We Come
I remember moving day. I have moved with my family three times; twice that I really remember. I went away to college, like far away. I have packed up my possessions several times and moved them. But none of that could have prepared me for what yesterday was. We didn't move more than 10 min from our original home but I found myself asking 'are we there yet' several times. It was disorganized; dispite my best efforts, it was rainy, it was frustrating and angering and just yucky. I don't remember it being like that. In the past, you just packed up your boxes and the old odd-jobers came and loaded your truck while you took pictures and wheeled your little brother around on the dolly. Yesterday, no little old men came to my house. My poor husband had to shlep all the boxes that hadn't already made it to the coop there, then his dad got home from work and helped move furnature and one of our family friends came as well before he had to go to work. But really there was not an abundance of hands. And with two kids, there are no pictueres so I will borrow some from my mom, who is apparently the most gifted mover around.
Then we got here, and in the past there would have been little old ladies there to greet you with a meal and mops and rags to help clean before you unpack. Nope, no little old ladies here. Just little old me, cleaning the most disgusting fridge EVER! So here we are, moved in. The painter said goodnight to us last night before bed. We will see him again probably one more day. The washer dryer have been 'out on delivery' for two days now and will arrive when hell freezes over most likely. And then the countertops can come. But we live here now, ready or not here we come.
