Family Weekend

I spent the weekend with some amazing people. It has been quite some time since I have spent time with them and every time without fail I have this moment right before I walk in the door where I think to myself "What if this time it's been too long?" "What if they don't like me" "What if this is awkward and uncomfortable?" 

And then I walk in the door and remember that no length of time is 'too long' and they will always like me... they may not admit it but push come to shove this family thing is pretty solid. And as far as awkward and uncomfortable... maybe to some but it's always nice to remember that..

We can laugh together.

Visit together.

Pick boogers together.

Or shove our faces full of donuts.

And in the end. That's what family is. 

I am blessed with a fantastic family.
